Listen to Obituary

Cynthia Jane Teigen (Jennik) of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2026. Cindy was born on January 16, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Colonel U.S. Army Francis Jennik and Rosemary (Stefaniak). She was preceded in death by both parents.

Cindy is survived by her daughter Julie (Scott) Kopf of Affton, MO, and son Jimmy (Amber) Teigen of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by her five grandchildren (Isabella Kopf, Lincoln Kopf, Corrina Teigen, Ruby Kopf, and Finley Teigen), nine siblings (Jan Grigg, Susan Jennik, Peter Jennik, Julie Oren, Greg Jennik, Jeri Lewandowski, Rob Jennik, Mary Scherer, and Joe Jennik), and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Cindy served her country in the U.S. Army. Later, she was an active member of the Northern Light Church of Christ (Brooklyn Center, MN) and Rooftop Church (Affton, MO) and others over the years. She spent a significant amount of time spreading God’s joy to others through encouraging notes, Bible verses, and birthday cards. In 2022 Cindy moved to Little Rock and was a smiling, sparkling, welcoming neighbor to many at The Summit Senior Living Community.

Cindy loved to make others smile, and the joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren. “Mimi” loved to sing, play games, clean, dance, watch sunsets, go on walks, serve others, and celebrate life. Although there were many physical limitations, Cindy believed she could do all things through Christ who gave her strength. Her race on this life has ended, but she is now running and rejoicing with Jesus!

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be at noon on Feb. 7 at Royale Orleans in St. Louis (2801 Telgraph Rd. 63125).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Abide in Love St. Louis.
