Clara Rita Kaplon Phillips, age 90, of Bryant, AR went to her eternal home on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. She was the daughter of Jacob and Magdalen Pasierb Kaplon of Marche, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Rex Phillips; two sons, Alfred Rex Phillips and John Wayne Phillips; grandson Jason Barrett Garmon; three sisters and one brother.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Phillips and Robert Phillips; three daughters, Ruby Garmon, Margaret Strohsahl and Gradye LeVine; two sisters, Cecelia Warren and Marie Meier; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville at 1:00 PM on Friday with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM with Father James West officiating.
