Claudia Minerva Forsythe

Claudia Minerva Forsythe, age 93, of Glenwood, died Friday, April 1, 2011. She was born on August 19, 1917, in Wortham, Texas, the daughter of Claude F. Yow and Lucy Ann Riddle Yow. On August 22, 1939, she was married to Owen Forsythe who preceded her in death on March 1, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ron Forsythe; two brothers, Raymond Yow and Dave Yow; and her sister, Fern Yow Haggard. She was a homemaker and member of the Glenwood First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Mary Forsythe of Amity; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2011, in the Glenwood Cemetery with Sister Mary Forsythe officiating.
