Clayton Davis

Clayton Robert Coe Davis, 22, of McRae, Arkansas, passed away on April 17, 2026.

He was born on December 2, 2003, in Searcy, Arkansas, to a family who would come to cherish his kind and gentle spirit. Clayton was a proud graduate of Cabot High School and Arkansas State University–Beebe.

Clayton had a deep love for reading, crocheting, knitting, and playing video games. He especially treasured time spent with his family, particularly during game nights that were filled with laughter and connection. Known for his infectious smile, Clayton was one of the kindest and most empathetic souls, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was recently employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Springhill Baptist and also worked alongside his aunt at Ace Hardware in Beebe, where he was valued for his dedication and warm personality.

Clayton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Turnage, Floyd Davis, and Derek Garrison. His aunts, April (Auntie A) White, Sweetie Davis, Margret Candy, his uncle, James “Bubby” Davis; and his cousin, Matthew Fitler.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Mandi and Christopher York; his sister, Allie (Kyle) Schaefers; brothers Blaine and Carson York, Zachary Davis, and Gannon Maxwell; his aunts, Teresa (Brad) Davis, Amy (Josh) Baker, and April Turnage; his uncles, Jeb (Cody) Stewart, and Josh Turnage; grandparents Linda (Lynn) Stewart, Melba Garrison, Janice Turnage and Michael York; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe.
