Cleo H. Sigman, age 86, of Glenwood, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was born on August 24, 1926 near Bonnerdale, the son of Odem L. Sigman and Esther McKinley Sigman. On November 28, 1946, he was married to Maxine Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Cecil Sigman and Doyle Sigman. He was the retired owner and operator of the DX Service Station. A United States Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion. He was a former member of the Caddo Gap School Board. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Sigman of Glenwood; five children and their spouses, Peggy and Wick Howell of Glenwood, Dennis and Lisa Sigman of Union City, Tennessee, Lynda and Jim Robbins, Brenda and Bo Lea, and Cass and Dale Adams, all of Glenwood; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Dajunna Howell, Jeff and Jodi Howell, Jason Robbins, Ashlea Sigman, Seth and Lindsay Sigman, Kelsey Sigman, Nathan and Tara Adams and Sara Adams; two great-grandchildren, Cori and Rachel; his sisters, Mary Lee of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013, in the Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Scott Howell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
