Clinton Wingfield

Clinton L. "Mac" Wingfield age 82 of Conway formerly of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Little Rock. He was born October 4, 1930 in Okolona, Arkansas the son of the late Bob and Ethel Winfield Wingfield. Mac was a member of Conway First United Methodist Church, 33rd degree Mason and Shriner with Arkadelphia Masonic Lodge # 381 and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

In the early 1960's, he served as a Administrator at the Boys Ranch in Texas. While in Arkadelphia, he was the director of the Arkadelphia Human Development Center from 1968 until 1972. He moved to Conway and was the director of the Conway Human Development Center. After leaving the Conway Human Development Center, he was a consultant with E. C. S. Company of Conway. Mac finished his working career as a self-employed consultant.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Faye Wingfield on September 9, 2011 and one brother, Bob Stell Wingfield of Pine Bluff.

Survivors are three sons, Mark Wingfield and wife, Gena of Little Rock, David Wingfield and wife, Cindy, Keith Wingfield and wife, Debbi both of Conway; five grandchildren, Katelind and her husband, Dr. Branson Bolden, Chase Wingfield, Laura Paige Wingfield, Sydney Wingfield and Ty Wingfield; and one sister, Dorothea Ann Martin of Alexander, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2nd at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens near Arkadelphia with Dr. John Miles officiating. Visitation will be 9:00-10:30 a.m. Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Family will receive friends and family at Conway First United Methodist 1610 Prince St. Conway, Arkansas on Thursday, November 1st from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Conway First United Methodist Church.
