Listen to Obituary

Cloe Dell Entricken, age 100, of Norman, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026.

She was born on June 9, 1926, to Robert Owen Reece, Sr. and Leota May (Prowse) Reece. Cloe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Entricken; and her siblings, Jean Reece Avra (Tom Avra), Betty Reece Leudtke (Marvin Leudtke), and Robert Owen Reece, Jr.; and her nephew, Mark Avra.

Cloe was an independent, intelligent, driven young woman. After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University in 1946, at twenty years old, with a suitcase in hand, she boarded a train to New York City. There she entrenched herself in the fashion industry, working as a runway model. While in NYC, Cloe met Richard Entricken, a naval RM. The two married and a few years later moved back to Norman to start a family. For the next twenty nine years, Mrs. Entricken taught Home Economics at Norman High School, then Caddo Hills High School, where she inspired many. Cloe was a lifelong member of Norman First Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and enjoyed being a snack provider for VBS and the youth group. Flower and vegetable gardening was a passion, and she loved sharing her flowers with the church. Even this spring, Cloe could be found digging in the raised beds at The Manor, where her flowers and vegetables flourished.

The highlight of her golden years was her two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her friend group at the Manor became a cherished extended family. Cloe was loved and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debra Entricken (John Mace) and Carol Entricken Lee (Bart Lee); Rachel Lee Jones (Kevin Jones), and her great-grandson’s Henry (7yrs) and Heath (3yrs) Coulton Lee (Grace Smith Lee), and her great-granddaughter Nora (5yrs) and great-grandson Decker (1yr); her two nephews, Robert Leudtke (Carolyn Kilday Leudtke) Ron Avra and daughter Mariel Avra Klauer; her niece, Betty Avra; and many loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Bart Lee, John Mace, Coulton Lee, Kevin Jones, Luke Black, and Ron Avra.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Norman First Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Norman First Baptist Church with Bro. Robbie Loudermilk officiating.

Interment will be held at Black Springs Cemetery.
