Clyde R. Brincefield

Clyde Robert Brincefield, 96, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 9, 2026. He was born August 26, 1930 in Statesville, North Caroline to the late Robert and Stella Brincefield.

He joined the United States Army and served in Korea and then joined the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force as Master Sergeant in 1971. He went on to work at Mount Saint Mary Academy for 30 years where he was lovingly known as Sarge. He was a longtime member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock and Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Helen Brincefield; sons, Wallace Brincefield (Amanda) and James Brincefield (Mindy); grandchildren, Haley McDaniel, Taylor Brincefield (Erica) and Alena Brincefield; great-grandchildren, Alexa McDaniel, Parker Brincefield, and Remi Brincefield; siblings, Clara Huff, Doris Pierce, Jimmy Brincefield (Faye), Lynda McKinney (Harold). He also leaves many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, sister, June Crummett.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
