Col. Ellis

Col. (Ret.) Lester C. Ellis, 64, of Cabot passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and retired from the Army Reserve after 39 years. He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Marcy Ellis; mother, Bonnie Ward Ellis; three children, Steven Ellis, Brian Ellis (April) and Peyton Ellis; brother, Randall Ellis; and four grandchildren, Anna Grace Ellis, Devin Kelley, Ricky Kelley, and Joe Albano. He was preceded in death by his father; Ester Ellis and his sister, Patsy Stephenson.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the church followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
