Colby Landon Tiner, born July 24, 2006, in Benton, Arkansas, passed away on October 20, 2025. Though his time here was far too short, Colby left a lasting mark on everyone blessed to know him.

Colby was cherished for his energy, creativity, and one-of-a-kind spirit that drew people in.

Colby had a vibrant personality and a heart as big as his imagination. He did things his own way and in his own time, never afraid to be himself. His love for art and fashion shone through in everything he did. One of his proudest creations was a handcrafted Coraline doll he made for his little sister—a small piece of art that said so much about his creativity, generosity, and love for family. Colby was a dreamer. He was also wildly creative. He expressed not only wanting to be an electrician someday, but even moving to Europe to do fashion design, selling abstract art, and just being an entrepreneur. He had so much to do still…..

He had a way of lighting up any room he entered. Whether he was showing his friends the latest TikTok dance, goofing around doing gymnastics with his younger sisters, or simply cracking jokes, Colby’s joy was contagious. His siblings saw him as a hero, and his friends knew they could count on him for an honest ear and a caring heart.

Colby loved life and all the little things that made it sweet—his BMX bike, his dog Doodle, and, of course, Mexican candy. He had a sharp mind, even if he liked to keep it under wraps, and those closest to him saw how thoughtful and wise he really was. He was playful and teasing, but always out of love. His laughter, loyalty, and creative spark will be deeply missed.

Colby is survived by his mother, Shannon Jones and husband Marrion of Benton; his father, Kevin Tiner of Benton; and his biological father, Jeff Atkins II of Malvern. He leaves behind his siblings: Braden Atkins, Spencer Atkins, Legend Atkins, Marrion Jones Jr., Damarrion Jones, Andrew Kimes, Carleigh Jones, Alayla Jones, Cayleigh Jones, Mason Jones, Cameron Jones, and Mykah Jones.

He is also remembered by his grandparents: Donna Atkins, Jeff Atkins Sr., Cheryl Ramsey-Brooks, Carolyn and Danny Clegg, Robert Tiner, and Milly Tiner; his girlfriend, Jasmin McNeil; and his best friend, Max McNeil. His uncles David Ramsey (Carlene), Sam Piersall, Johnny Piersall, Luke Brooks, Cody Atkins, and Zach Atkins, along with a host of extended family and friends, will carry his memory in their hearts.

Services will be announced as soon as possible.

As we reflect on Colby’s life, we celebrate the love, laughter, and creativity he shared so freely. His spirit will continue to inspire everyone who had the joy of knowing him.
