Colton “Cole” Wendell Jett, age 18, passed away on April 9, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply.
Cole was born on July 9, 2007, at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock. He was the beloved son of Alisha Hawkins and Marc Jett.
He is survived by his Mother, Alisha Hawkins; his Father, Marc Jett; his brother, Mason William Jett; his stepfather, "Coach" Chris Hawkins; his stepmother, Amy Jett; his step-siblings, Carter and Cara Grace Hawkins, and Madison and Laken Silkwood. He is also survived by his loving grandparents, “Gamma” Christina Wilson, “Papaw Bedo” Bill Jett, Corky and Karen Hawkins, Cecil and Sally Marion, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, “Woo Woo” Wanda Jett, “Papaw” Gary Williams and “Gran in Heaven” Sherry Williams.
He was a senior at Conway High School and received his diploma to graduate. We couldn’t be prouder of all of his hard work and efforts.
Cole was a gifted athlete who loved baseball, football, and golf. He had a spirit for adventure and the outdoors. He enjoyed rock wall climbing, camping, gardening, hunting and fishing, especially the times spent with his brother and friends.
He had a creative and joyful soul and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to make others laugh. Cole loved drawing, playing the guitar, harmonica, and singing. He had a passion for cooking and loved to build things with his hands. He had dreams of becoming an architect, as well as a chef.
He loved his dog, Maggie May, and found happiness in the simple things, including his favorite dessert, carrot cake.
Most importantly, Cole loved the Lord. His faith was an important part of his life, and he treasured his times at Brookhill Ranch Camp and being active in New Life Church’s youth ministries. He showed God’s love to others by encouraging them with his kind smile and generous hugs.
Cole’s life, though far too short, was full of love, laughter, and purpose. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at New Life Church in Greenbrier from 6:00pm-8:00pm and a celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at New Life Church in Greenbrier beginning at 2:00pm.
