Connie Lynette Alford

Connie L Alford, 76, of Jacksonville passed away on September 5, 2023. She was born August 13, 1947, in England, AR to Carl Lee Alford and Othel West Alford. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Connie worked 35 years for the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) as a Software Support Analyst and treasured her ADE family. She took pride in caring for her parents and enjoyed family get-togethers, birthdays, holidays, and all things Donald Duck.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Bea (Don) Hale; brother, CW Alford; brother and sister-in-law, Carl (June) Alford; sisters Geneva Healey and Dianne Meriweather; nephews, Tony Alford, Jerry Overacker, and Ronald Crafton; and niece Terri White.

Survivors include brother-in-law, Dale Meriweather; and sister-in-law, Thelma Alford; lifelong family friend Carol Parks, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly: Tyler Platt, Jason (Heather) Moring, Maxine (Mike) Hammett, Lynette (Kelly) Culpepper, Vicky Overacker, Sonja Alford, Shelly Alford, Andy (Candy) Alford, Cindy (Ed) Brownlee, Holly Richards, Susan (Brian) Miller, and her 2 grand-nephews Keegan Culpepper and Justin Moring. Plus, many more great nieces & nephews, friends, and other family members.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, September 11, 2023, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood Nursing and Rehab, 2323 McCain Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116 “In memory of Connie Alford.”
