Connie Faye Terry

Connie Faye Terry, age 68, of Hot Springs, left this earth to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2020.

She was born on October 11, 1951, in Dermott, the daughter of J.C. Wilson and Jessie Darnell Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Johnnie Wilson, J.B. Wilson, Gus Wilson, Lewis Wilson, Don Wilson and her twin brother, Ronnie Wilson; and four sisters, Virginia Snow, Pauline Lunsford, Joyce Hayes and Sue Moore.

Connie was a member of Lake Hills Freewill Baptist Church. Connie’s passion was hunting and fishing with Bill and camping with her sister, Sandy and all her kids.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bill Terry of Hot Springs; son, Steven Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; honorary grandchildren, Lexi Smith, Lauren Whitney and Nathyn Smith; four sisters, Delores Isom of Dallas, Texas, Hazel Pryor of Leesville, Louisiana, Virgie Owens of Monticello, Sandy Patterson of Dumas; three brothers, Charles Wilson of McArthur, Danny Wilson and Stephen Wilson, both of McGehee; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2020 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Pastor Jonathan McEntire officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the funeral home.

Social distancing directives will be in place-100 or less at a time in chapel, face covering must be worn.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James Humphreys and staff, Robert McCain, Bobby McCain, Sam Mullins, Derek Landrum, Jeremy Landrum and Mark Landrum.
