Connie Hutto

Connie Hutto, 83 years of age, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at CHI St Vincent hospital surrounded by her family.

Connie was born May 28, 1939, in Athens, AR to the late Leon and Maudie Garrison. She was preceded in death by her only sibling, Bob Garrison.

Connie married Bill Hutto on January 10, 1959, and was a devoted mother to three children, Julie Jones of Springdale, AR, Cindy Pitts of Bella Vista, AR, and Jeff Hutto of Evans, GA.

Connie worked as a secretary for 13 years and later raised chickens for over 30 years. Of all of her works in life, the greatest job to her was raising her family.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, Elvis music, and dinners with her family. Connie had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and to be unforgettable. She was always thinking of others first and made sure that they felt important.

She is survived by her husband, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, and numerous friends whose lives she touched.

There will never be another person quite like our Connie Hutto. Simply put, she was the greatest person we’ve ever known. She will be missed terribly by her family and all that knew her, however, we are all better people just to have known her. She is smiling down from heaven right now without any pain or heartache. She was always proud of her family, and she would be proud now.

Our faith tells us that we will see her again and oh what a glad reunion day that will be.
