Conrad C. McKown

Listen to Obituary

Conrad Nathan McKown, 89, passed away on September 3, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgianna Byars McKown, of North Little Rock. While those special to Conrad’s heart are too many to name, he enjoyed special times with the Hank Ketcher family, the Byars families, and his church family at Park Hill Christian Church.

Conrad faithfully served his country and his community through his military service and volunteer community service. Conrad served seven times as Local Worthy President, Aerie 60 in Little Rock and one year as worthy State President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, which raised thousands of dollars for diabetes research and other worthy causes. He volunteered in the PHCC Food Pantry for many years.

Conrad was a fun loving and joyful storyteller, and an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. For many years, Conrad never missed being present for an Arkansas football game – home or away. Quick to smile and to find the good - Conrad will be missed by all who knew him. Conrad enjoyed attending the Park Hill Christian Church in North Little Rock.

A memorial service for Conrad will be held at Park Hill Christian Church at a date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Park Hill Christian Church Food Pantry or the Order of the Eagles.
