Copeland Russell Ratcliff

Copeland Russell Ratcliffe of Conway, AR departed this life on February 21, 2017 at the age of 66 years following a short illness. He is survived by a number of cousins and a wide circle of friends.

Born on August 31, 1950, Russell was the only child of Copeland Ratcliffe and Frances Russell Ratcliffe of Heidelburg, MS. He attended public schools in Laurel, MS and received a B.A. in Business from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Russell enjoyed a successful business career in finance with major companies in Jackson, MS, Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR.

Those who knew Russell the best were aware of the strong attachment to his childhood memories on the family farm in Heidelburg, MS and his memories of college days in Hattiesburg, MS as a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

Russell was an avid outdoorsman with special attractions to his fishing trips in the Gulf of Mexico and duck hunting as a longtime member of the Blytheville Hunting Club in Arkansas.
