Cora B. Moore

   Cora B. (McCoy) Moore departed this life at home surrounded by family and loved ones on April 2, 2023.

    Cora B. Moore was born in Drew County, Arkansas. She moved to Omaha at 18 years of age where she met and married Lee V. Moore, her husband of 57 years. She worked for American Beef, Campbell Soup, Conagra and West. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, canning, sewing, hunting, flowers, and all the time she could spend with her family.

   Cora was born August 27, 1943 to the late Harvey McCoy and Lucinda Stanberry McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lee V. Moore; brothers, Harvey McCoy Jr., Elbert McCoy, Edward McCoy and Levert McCoy; sisters, Doris (McCoy)Cook, Essye (McCoy) Giles and Vessye McCoy. She is survived by her sisters, Bertha Neal and Lula McCoy; her children, Lee V. Moore, Jr., Gregory L. Moore, Brenda (Moore) Vann (Anthony) and Bernice (Moore) Kelly (Tracy); her grandchildren, Amanda Thornton (Rubin), Teneusa Moore, Che Stubblefield, Jr., Terence Moore, Fabian Moore, Michael Moore, Marcellus Moore, Montrellus Moore and Talea Jones; 37 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

   Open visitation will be Wednesday, April 12 from 9-5 p.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.. Services will be Thursday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
