Cordie Bertrell Tallent age 90 of the Degray Community near Arkadelphia died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home. She was born April 30, 1920 in Texas the daughter of the late Rufus and Elizabeth Beard. Her husband of fifty-eight years, Paul L. Tallent preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Rufus Tallent and one daughter, Lecia Tallent both of the Degray Community, three grandchildren, Katrina Tallent, Michael Talent, and Katie Miller, four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Reva Anderson of Houston, Texas.
Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday in the DeGray Cemetery near Arkadelphia with Brother Rick Mays officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be to the DeGray Cemetery Fund c/o Robert McCallum, 200 McCallun Rd., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
