Coy D. Tims age 83 of Bismarck, formerly of Arkadelphia, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 23, 2011. He was born June 28, 1927 at Bismarck the son of Harrison and Martha Kinard Tims. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, a home builder, and a Methodist. He was preceded in death by a brother Marvin Tims and a sister Betty Jo Tims.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Thornton Tims, three daughters, Delores Turner and her husband Jerry of Rockwall, TX, Brenda Hasley and her husband Ricky of Arkadelphia, and Rebecca Spradlin and her husband Larry of Bismarck, one sister, Jean Thornton and her husband Leon of Bismarck, six grandchildren, Jereme Turner, Sharlee Purdom, Jason Turner, Chad Spradlin, Ann Tracy, and Coy Hasley, four great grandchildren, Alex Spradlin, Taylor Hasley, Trevor Tracy, and Brooks Purdom.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, May 25th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P. O. Box 1653, Topeka, Kansas 66601-1653.
