Curtis Wayne Boone, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on October 23, 2024 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 26. Born on August 31, 1998, in Texarkana, Texas, Curtis was a remarkable individual whose vibrancy and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him.

Curtis's personality was a shining light; he had a unique ability to light up any room and was well-loved for his outgoing nature and infectious sense of humor. Friends and family cherished his one-of-a-kind spirit, recalling him as a person who was truly fun-loving and very funny. He possessed a rare charm that endeared him to many, making every gathering feel joyful and memorable. He was a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, class of 2017, Curtis was known as a jack of all trades within the construction industry, showcasing his versatile skills and dedication to his work. Service to his country was an important aspect of Curtis's life. He served in the Army for three and a half years, dedicating one of those years to stationed duty in South Korea. In his leisure time, Curtis had a deep love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying fishing and hunting. These hobbies were not just pastimes for him but a way to connect with nature and share fond memories with family and friends.

Curtis is survived by his cherished family. He leaves behind his mother, Melissa (Chris) White; father, James (LaDonna) Boone; sister, Haley Zuetlau; step-sisters, Hannah White and Ashline (Tyler) Harr; step-brother, Colton Bailey; aunt, Amanda Davis; uncles, Chad (Tiffany) Davis and Jesse Dossey, Jerry Boone, Patrick (Michelle) Boone; cousins, Adrian Santana-Davis, Andon Santana, Connor Davis; paternal grandmother, Vickie Boone; his grandfather, Rodney (Becky) Davis; and his great grandmother Ruby Davis.

Curtis was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Wayne Boone, step-brother, Kirkline Nolen and his beloved childhood dog "Red" in memory.

A visitation will be held in his memory on November 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Following this, a memorial service will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate the life of Curtis Wayne Boone, a truly remarkable person whose legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
