Cynthia Bowman

Cynthia Kay (Cindy) Bowman departed her earthly home Friday, March 31, 2017 in North Little Rock, AR. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, January 20, 1951, the daughter of Ike "Smokey" and Kathleen Bowman. She left behind one sister, Lynda Jelks; brother-in-law, Bill Jelks; nephews Craig Carter Venable and Christopher Neil Venable and her cat "Cat Stevens," her prized possession.
Cindy was a very good friend to those she befriended, especially her church friends and hospice caretakers but most of all to Don and Terry Conklin, longtime special friends who were with her to the end.
Cindy was an open book with a strong relationship with God; she constantly studied the word and tried to please the Lord. Cindy was generous to a fault. She especially loved Cat Stevens and her hospice workers with whom she became particularly close. She had a great sense of humor and her favorite saying was "Only good is going on." She will be sorely missed and a welcome addition to Heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Park Hill Presbyterian Church.
