Cynthia Guin Jeffries, age 76, of Ward, Arkansas went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Cynthia was born February 5, 1947 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Louis and Oleta Ball. She was a graduate of Humnoke High School in 1965. Cynthia married the love of her life, Wayne Jeffries, on October 21, 1966.
Cynthia began her career in the telecommunications industry in 1965 with Southwestern States Telephone Company in Stuttgart and retired from General Telephone in Texarkana. At the time of her death she was still working, inspecting fiber optic cable as a resident engineer in Philipsburg, Montana. Cynthia was also known as a fantastic cook and co-owned and operated two successful restaurants, The Mystic Chef in Stuttgart and CJs Deli in Cabot. She was an extremely hard worker and exceeded at everything she ever did.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers – Bob, Waymon and Don Ball; and great-grandson Bentley Dwyer.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wayne Jeffries; son Jeff Jeffries; grand-daughter Chelsey Jeffries; great-granddaughter Paisley Dwyer and great-grandson Zeppelin Rollin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will host a celebration of Cynthia’s life on Friday, September 8th at 10:00am at the Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God in Humnoke, Arkansas.
