Cynthia Jayne (Cindy) Moffett Poole departed this life on May 9, 2020. She was born in 1962 in Huntsville, Alabama to Dorothy and Lawrence Moffett, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence R. Moffett, Jr. and her brother, Greg Moffett. She leaves behind her two daughters, Loren and Mary Cait, as well as her nephew, Brady Moffett; her mother, Dorothy Moffett; her brother, Lawrence (Rex) Moffett III; her best friend and companion for over seven years, Richard (Rick) Maddox; and Brian Poole, the father of her children.
Cindy graduated from Mount St. Mary's and received her undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Arkansas. She taught special education classes at Arkansas Baptist School, and for the past eleven years, was an administrator at Chenal Valley Montessori School.
Cindy was a wonderful, warm and kindhearted individual who can never be replaced. She fought a hard battle but now she can rest in peace. She will be sorely missed. As a mother, she always put her children first and raised them with love. She is now in the hands of God.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the Humane Society of Pulaski County.
