Listen to Obituary

Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Trickey, 69, of Sherwood passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. She was a devoted Christian and a successful businesswoman who loved her family and friends dearly. Cindy was born on September 17, 1956, in Fort Worth, TX. She moved to North Little Rock as a teenager, graduating from NLR High and remaining in the area throughout her adult life.

Jesus meant everything to her. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church NLR, serving on committees and helping with kids’ ministry, among other things. She was blessed to raise three children: Nicholas, Debbie, and Samantha. She adored her many grandchildren. And was loving wife to Richard for the last 21 years.

Cindy was involved in the insurance industry for several decades. Working for Sedgwick and The Cashion Company, before becoming a partner with Sterling Seacrest Pritchard. She truly cared about her co-workers and customers and worked hard to bless and provide for her family.

Cindy is survived by her children: Nick (Kristin) Wadley, Debbie (Todd) Calaway, and Samantha (Jon) Windham; her husband, Richard  "Rick" Trickey; and his children: Christopher (Mandy) Trickey, and Jamie Trickey; and her many grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, Clarence Wood; stepmother, Sandra Wood; brothers: David (Jenny) Wood, Rob (Cheryl) Wood, Ken Lewis; and many other family members whom she loved deeply.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Wood.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the church family at Faith Baptist and the staff of Gentiva Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion.
