Daisy Henderson

Daisy Lee Henderson, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017.
She was born August 5, 1931 to Orland and Nora Lawless.
Daisy graduated as an X-ray Technician in February 1952 and worked in that profession until 1972 when she obtained her real estate broker license. She worked for a local realtor and eventually opened Henderson Real Estate. Daisy was instrumental in organizing the North Pulaski Board of Realtors and served as an officer and board member for many years and was recognized as a lifetime Million Dollar Producer. She continued her career in real estate until her retirement in late 2008, due to health reasons.
Daisy was a member of Levy Baptist Church, continuing to serve as a Sunday School teacher and choir member until 2014.
Daisy loved her family very much and enjoyed hosting family parties and reunions throughout the years. She helped to nurture her grandsons and great-granddaughter during their preschool years whenever she was not busy selling real estate.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Morris E. Henderson, her mother Nora Lawless and stepfather, Orland Dean Lawless. She is survived by her son Orland (Sharon) of North Little Rock, two grandsons; Jason Robert Henderson (Vicki) of Jacksonville and Joshua Kelly Henderson of North Little Rock, great-granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Henderson, a senior at UCA in Conway.
Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 Monday, June 19, 2017 at the funeral home with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
