Dal Edward Love

Dal Edward Love, age 47, of Mount Ida, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Hot Springs. He was born on August 22, 1970, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the son of Charles David Love and Evelyn Hughes Love. He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Varna and Melissa Love; and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Gracie Hughes. Dal graduated valedictorian in 1988 from Oden High School. He later owned and operated for many years Napa Auto Parts. He was a member of the Arkansas Canoe Club and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He had the spirit of an adventurer and threw caution to the wind. He was kind to everyone, never met a stranger and was always looking for his next opportunity. Dal will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Love of Oden; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2018, in Faith Tabernacle in Mount Ida with Tommy Beshears and Horace Lawrence officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Warm Hearts, P.O. Box 535, Mount Ida, Arkansas 71957.
