Dale Edward Duncan, 88 of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2023.  He was born on October 28, 1935, in McRae to the late Clifford and Eula Duncan.

He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Arkansas and served as a Deacon for 33 years.

Dale retired in 1993 after serving 35 years as Operations Sgt Major for the 95th Training Support Brigade at Camp Pike in North Little Rock of the U.S. Army/Army Reserves.  He also served thirty years in Civil Service at the LRAFB as Vehicle Maintenance Shop Supervisor.

Preceding him in death, Patricia Hicks Duncan, his loving wife of 65 years; two daughters-in-law, Kathy Duncan and Sherry Duncan.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, James (Dana 1) Duncan of North Little Rock and Terry (Dana 2) Duncan of Cabot; two grandchildren, Kyle (Teresa) Duncan of Jacksonville and Megan Duncan of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; two great-granddaughters, Haven and Adrianna; two sisters, Jeanette Valdez of Beebe and Bertha Lawson of Lonoke; brother, Gary (Vicki) Duncan of Gowen, Oklahoma; a host of nieces and nephews along with a church family that will miss his presence deeply.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund at 1430 McCollum Road, Austin, Arkansas 72007.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service which will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Austin.  A Private burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
