Dale Ford
Dale Stroud Ford of McRae, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. He was born to Alvin Ford and Beatrice Stroud Ford on August 13, 1932 in Cave Springs, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Doris Faye Ford and sister Virginia Wells.
Dale is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Barbara Hebel Ford; his children, Sheila (Darren) Wilkins, Stella Catlett, Vicky (Amelia) Hendrix, Roger (Alexandra) Ford, Judy Harmon, Tommy (Deeta) Hendrix, Barbara Huchingson, and Glen Carmen; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Dale was a truck driver for many years. He retired from Affiliated Foods and drove many years for himself. He also worked at Knights Grocery Store as a stocker. Dale was a member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM at McRae, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at McRae. He was also a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church in McRae.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
