Dale Finley Parker

Dale F. Parker passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born in Texarkana, AR to the late John B. Parker Sr. and Anna Lee Van Camp. He was preceded by his wife of 74 years Patricia Joan Parker, his sister Dolores (Dodie) Parker McNeill, and his granddaughter Meggie Powell. He is survived by his daughters Dale Anne McClellan (Paul) and Dana Parker; his grandchildren Ginny Sims Burchard (Adam), Parker McClellan (Lindsey), Kaki McClellan Keech (Robert) and Joanie Powell as well as great-grandchildren.

Dale served in the U.S. Navy for four years aboard the USS Coralsea; After his discharge he began working at American Airlines where he was Manager of Passenger Sales in Little Rock. After that he went to work for The Charlotte John Co. for 12 years. Dale was always charismatic and smiling. He loved his family and doted on his grandchild and great- grandchildren. He also loved to travel with his wife Pat and they especially loved cruises. He and Pat were longtime members of St. James United Methodist Church of the Agape Class. They loved their church family and were very involved there. Dale will be missed by his family, but we know he’s with Pat now.

Funeral services will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 AM. Internment will be at St. James Columbarium.
