Dale Finley Parker

Dale F. Parker passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born in Texarkana, AR to the late John B. Parker Sr. and Anna Lee Van Camp.

He was preceded by his wife of 74 years Patricia Joan Parker, his sister Dolores (Dodie) Parker McNeill, and his granddaughter Meggie Powell. He is survived by his daughters Dale Anne McClellan (Paul) and Dana Parker; his grandchildren Ginny Sims Burchard (Adam), Parker McClellan (Lindsey), Kaki McClellan Keech (Robert) and Joanie Powell as well as 7 great-grandchildren.

Dale served in the U.S. Navy for four years aboard the USS Coral Sea; After his discharge he began working at American Airlines where he was Manager of Passenger Sales in Little Rock when he retired. He then went to work for The Charlotte John Company for 12 years. Dale was very charismatic and always smiling. He loved his family and doted on his grandchildren. He also loved to travel with his wife Pat and they especially loved cruises. He and Pat were longtime members of St. James United Methodist Church and the Agape Class. They loved their church family and were very involved there. Dale will be greatly missed by his family, but we know he’s with Pat now.

Funeral services will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home (8801 Knoedl Court) on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 AM. Internment will be at St. James Columbarium at a later date. Please visit www.smithfamilycares.com for the online guestbook.
