Dallas E. Bunker, 87, of Cabot, AR went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2026. Dallas was born on March 18, 1939, in Brasfield, Arkansas, son of the late Luther J. and Jessie G. (Mashburn) Bunker. Dallas was a member of Sylvania Presbyterian Church in Ward, Arkansas and had a deep faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dallas served his country in the United States Navy from 1957-1961 on the USS Hornet aircraft carrier. He retired after 31 years of dedicated service to Dassault Falcon Jet Corp., Falcon Jet Corp., Federal Express, and Little Rock Airmotive. Dallas enjoyed caring for his parents and his time as husband, dad, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He loved camping and fishing with his kids, siblings, grandkids and friends.

Dallas is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Frances Bunker; daughters Jamie Hensley (Travis) of Vilonia and Kim Jenkins of Beebe; sons Russ Bunker (Gena) of Conway and Randy Bunker (Brenda) of Cabot; brother Clee Bunker of Belleville, Ill; three sisters, Mildred Cherry and Myrtle Hughes of Higginson and Eunice Hansell (Harold) of Searcy; 12 grandchildren (Adam Hensley, Heath Hensley, Cate Martell, Summer Hensley, Adara Hensley, Benjamin Jenkins, Katie Jenkins, Chase Bunker, Chelsi Applewhite, Chelsey Showmar, Chloe Hathcote and Alyson Swoboda); 17 great-grandchildren (Emmalyn and Erin Hensley, Liam and Landon Martell, KJ and Alina Brooks, Wyatt Hensley, Emberlyn Hensley, Jenna Leonard, Lanni and Kayli Jenkins, Kennedi and Emmalyn Bunker, Cooper Applewhite, Hart and Sunnie Hathcote, and Stetson Swoboda); 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James (J.L.) Luther Bunker and Elmer Ray Bunker; three sisters, Margie Gertrude Bunker, Margaret Janette Bunker, Sara Jane Bunker; grandson, Nathan Blaine Jenkins; and great-granddaughter, Rosie Mae Applewhite.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday, April 10 at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, AR. Funeral will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 10, 2026, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Sylvania Cemetery, Ward, AR. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to express thanks to all who visited and prayed, his Home Instead caregivers, Hospice, and special thanks to friend and caregiver Mesha Bell.
