Dana Minton

Dana Marie Minton, Beloved Mom, Groovy, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, left this world November 25, 2012 to take the next part of my journey back to heaven.

I was born August 20, 1957 to Dan and Marie Minton in Little Rock, AR. I am survived by my two sons, Micky D. Stuart and K.C. Surrett, whom I love more than life itself, Micky's beautiful wife Heather, which I could not have hand chosen better for him, and an awesome Grandson, Copeland Kash. My parents are alive and well in Nashville, AR. I have one favorite brother, Quin Minton of Fayetteville, AR and one favorite sister, Dena Price (husband Mobie) of Murfreesboro, AR. I have four pretty cool nephews, one fabulous niece. I am great aunt to six little munchkins they have provided me. Nine cousins and last but not least, my wonderful friend and assistant for the past seven years Sydney Misenheimer whom I could not have done this all without.

I fought a good battle with Melanoma and was positive to the very end, knowing that God had it all under control and would take me in his time not in mine.

Please come join the celebration of my life in my back yard on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 4:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the celebration! I am in a better place and will be waiting for you on the other side!
