Daniel Myers

Daniel B. Myers, Sr., 88, of Little Rock, passed away September 28, 2017 with his family at his side. Born in Sublette, Illinois to John Franklin and Bertha Becker Myers, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired as a program manager from the Department of Defense. He attended Christ the King Catholic Church. Dan was a people person and an avid golfer. He loved and was loved by his family who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose Barnes Myers; son, Daniel B. Myers, Jr. and wife, Claire, of Little Rock; daughter, Lynn Hamelin and husband, Paul, of Norwood, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown, Matthew Brown, Benjamin Brown, Amanda Myers, William Myers, Andrew Myers and Catherine Myers; and three great-grandchildren. His parents and four brothers predeceased him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Funeral services will be Monday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Father Warren Harvey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the DAV Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
