Danny H. Poindexter

Danny H. Poindexter of Beebe passed away on October 24, 2022.  He was born March 17, 1946, the son of the late Otis Poindexter and Laverne Edwards Poindexter.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ida Jo Reaves; and his brother, W. H. (Bill) Poindexter. 

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Sandy Holden Poindexter; son, Nathan (Jennifer) Poindexter; grandson, Adam Poindexter; step-granddaughter, Lauren (Justin) Fox, and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.

Danny was a Veteran and served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy Seabees, as a heavy equipment operator.  He later served in the Arkansas Air National Guard as a Civil Engineer and later as a KC-135 Crew Chief during the Cold War.  He spent thirty years an over the road truck driver, retiring in 2006.
