Listen to Obituary

Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and sister, Darlene Kolbicka Hilton, of Glenwood, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025 at the age of 62. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 25, 1963 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was the daughter of John Robert Kolbicka and Angeline Ann Mulhern Kolbicka.

She was a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who knew her.

Darlene dedicated her life to her family and her patients and found her greatest joy in being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Darlene was known for her love for animals as she rescued several. She taught us that true strength lies in kindness and a gentle heart.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Tim Ray Hilton of Glenwood; her two children and son-in-law, Blake Hilton of Glenwood and Angeline Ann Hilton Brewer and Michael Brewer of Sulphur Springs; her five grandchildren, Mackenzie Ann Brewer, Adilyn Hilton, Hunter Brewer, Karson Brewer, and Kyzer Brewer who she loved wholeheartedly; her twin brother, Bobby Kolbicka of Maynardville, TN; her brother and sister-in-kaw, Raymond and Monalisa Kolbicka of Amity; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.

The family will be holding graveside services on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Glenwood Cemetery with Bro. Scott Vaughn and Bro. Kevin Vaughn officiating.
