Darrell Wayne Jones, born on September 4, 1957, in Forrest City, Arkansas, passed away on September 14, 2025, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital. He was a dedicated and gifted salesman, known for his work with school and church fundraisers, through which he touched the lives of many in his community.

Darrell had a vibrant personality, characterized by his immense imagination and the heart of a child. His sense of humor was infectious, often leaving those around him pondering whether he was joking or being serious. He led a life filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories, largely rooted in his love for sports, particularly baseball and football. Darrell enjoyed the great outdoors, finding solace and adventure in activities like hunting and riding his four-wheeler.

Throughout his life, Darrell maintained a steadfast companionship with his beloved four-legged friend, Joey, who was always by his side. Their bond exemplified the deep and affectionate connections that characterized Darrell's relationships.

Darrell's legacy continues through his loving family, including his wife, Dot Jones. He is survived by his children: Darrell Wayne Jones, Jr. and his wife Amanda, Darian Jones and her husband Alan Ellison, Ryan Ransdell, and Drew Ransdell and his wife Courtnie. Darrell was a proud grandfather to Brynlee Jones, Cambrie Jones, Everett Jones, Ainslee Ellison, Emery Ellison, Elvis Ransdell, Atticus Ransdell, Elijah Ransdell, and Giovanni Ransdell. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Jones and his wife Binki, and Dewey Elmo Jones, Jr. and his wife Marilyn; his sister, Sandra Dreher and her husband Lem; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends who will always cherish Darrell's memory.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Elmo and Iris Dale (Boswell) Jones, along with his sisters, Theresa Ishmael and Becky Moore. 

Darrell will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will resonate for years to come.
