Darrell Ray Kee

Darrell Ray Kee, age 53, of McRae, passed away June 30, 2023, at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born June 27, 1970, to the late Billy Louis Kee and Mary Lou (Nick) Kee in Jacksonville.

Darrell was a 1988 graduate of Beebe High School, where he played football. In his early adult life, he held several occupations, eventually joining his father’s painting business and taking over operations after Billy’s retirement. He was a solitary person and deeply loved his family, spending much of his free time with his twin brother Darren.

Darrell is survived by his twin brother Darren Kee of Beebe, brother David Kee and wife Jennifer of Freeburg, IL; nieces and nephews, Corbin Kee, Julia Kee, Emily Pettway, and Gavin Kee; and great-niece, Hazel Pettway.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 5, 2023, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012. Funeral Service will start at 1:00PM to celebrate Darrell’s life. Private Inurnment will be a later date at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
