It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dauson Beau Nichols, who departed this life on July 6, 2025, at the tender age of six months. Dauson was born on December 10, 2024, and touched the hearts of all who knew him during his brief time among us. His joyful spirit and sweet presence will forever be cherished in the memories of his loved ones.
He absolutely loved to be held, or sitting up to where he could watch people walking by his bed. He loved to watch football with his daddy, and when someone would read to him or let him watch Dancing Fruit. He loved being rocked to sleep, and when on life support, he loved his hands being held and his hair being played with. He loved to try and talk to you. He also loved Bluey, and he loved his security blankets. He loved having his fan on and taking baths, playing with his toys, sucking on his fingers and binky, and being covered up even though he was hot natured.
Dauson is survived by his loving parents, Hayley and A.J. Nichols of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was adored by his sisters, Hadley and Hensley Nichols; his cousins, Aspen and Walker Bradford; an aunt, Joni Nichols; and an uncle, Anthony Bradford; grandfather, Shawn Marrell; grandmother, Richey Marrell; along with his great-grandmother, Karen Marrell; great-grandma, Dana Clifton; his aunt, Alexis Porter; and his primary caregiver, Shinyah Cameron.
Although he has departed from our world, Dauson has joined the gentle embrace of those who have passed before him, including his uncle, Robert Meyer; his Mimi, Amanda Brashier; and his great-grandpas, Sam Marrell and Ernest Brashier.
Dauson Beau Nichols will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to love him. May we celebrate his life and hold his memory close as we navigate the sorrow of his loss.
