David Wayne Adcock

David Wayne Adcock, 56, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. He was born June 24, 1968, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. David was the beloved son of Vicki (Hallmark) and Harley Wayne Adcock of North Little Rock. 

He is survived by his parents, along with extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gwendolyn and Melvin Hallmark and Louise and Harley Adcock. 

A graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1986, David went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master's degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. David grew up playing baseball and remained a loyal sports fan throughout his life. He enjoyed watching just about any game. He loved the outdoors, spending time exploring the woods and creeks around North Little Rock and Sherwood on his 3-wheeler and relaxing at the lake. 

David was known for his easygoing nature and friendly personality. He never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel welcome. Visitation will be held on June 5, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock. A private family service will be held at a later date.
