David Akers

David Floyd Akers, 72, of Maumelle, passed away September 21, 2020 with his family at his side. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Floyd and Mable Parsons Akers, he was a small business owner, a life member of the NRA and OOIDA, a board member of Counting on Each Other, and a member of Maumelle First United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Scott Akers; children, Kara Armas (Brian) of Pea Ridge, Karmin Kidd (Tommy) of Mountain View, Shauna Scott (Troy Bowman) of Huntsville, Alabama and Pamela Davis (Greg) of Benton,; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church of Maumelle.
