David Coney
David Warren Coney, age 52, went to be with his Lord the evening of November 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 17, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, worked alongside his father as a home builder, and was a private pilot. He was a warrior and a prince, a gentleman with the heartiest laugh. He gave the world's biggest bear hugs.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Beryl (B.G.) Coney and Elzie Brantley Coney. He is survived by the love of his life, Sonja Walters Coney, and their two sons, Devan Warren Coney and Dawson Walters Coney; his sisters, Deborah Coney Mayernick and Karen Coney Criner; three nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, November 17 with the funeral service immediately
following at 1:30 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Entombment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
