Listen to Obituary

David Wayne Kendall, age 75, of Beebe, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

David was a man of deep faith whose life reflected the love of Christ in every aspect. He adored the Lord, his church family, and above all, his own family. David honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His courage, loyalty, and sacrifice in those years carried into the rest of his life, where he continued to serve others with strength and humility. His heart for giving was evident in the numerous mission trips he took, where he poured into others with compassion and kindness. He lived out his faith through service, encouragement, and generosity, always pointing others back to God’s goodness.

Those who knew David will remember him as uplifting and encouraging—a steady source of hope and strength. He was the kind of person you wanted in your corner when life became difficult, always ready with a prayer, a smile, or a word of wisdom. His presence was a blessing, and his absence will be deeply felt.

David is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Kendall; his three children, Scott Finney (Kim Roberts), Susanna Gann (Scott), and Amy Barley (Kevin and family), six grandchildren, Jesse and Samantha Taylor, Sydnee Gann, Sawyer Gann, Zack Tucker, and Aubrey Tucker; two great-grandchildren Beckett and Lynnleigh Jo Taylor; and his two siblings, Bonnie Davis, of Jacksonville, AR and Dennis Kendall, of Tyler, Texas, as well as those that he considered family including: Michael and Edie Bomar (Sadie, Stella, Sarah), and Phillip and Terri Lee. He also leaves behind a large circle of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at Beebe Church of Christ on October 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. , with Matthew Love officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on October 9, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m at Beebe Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Beebe Church of Christ Belize Mission Fund, in David’s honor, continuing his legacy of faith, giving, and service to others.

Though David has left this earthly life, his family rejoices in knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord he loved so deeply, hearing the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

The family respectfully requests that we honor David and his memory by wearing purple, representing pancreatic cancer awareness.
