David Michael Peters, 43, of Maumelle, passed away October 3, 2012. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduated from Pelham High School in Pelham, Alabama and attended Park Hill Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Easter Seals where he was affectionately known as Mr. Michael and participated in the Special Olympics. He was an honorary member of the Maumelle Fire Department.
He is survived by his parents, Luke and Judy Cardwell Peters and sister, Audrey Peters, all of Maumelle; grandparents, John and Diane Cardwell of Atlanta, Georgia and grandfather, Donald Peters of Washington; and a host of other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Lynn Beale and Patricia Peters.
Visitation will be Friday, October 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Park Hill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Gordon Garlington. Interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the library at Park Hill Presbyterian.
