David Brian Salter

David Brian Salter, born on August 23, 1958, in Glendale, California, passed away on May 31, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy marked by his warmth, humor, and commitment to family.

Throughout his career, David dedicated himself to the construction industry, working as a contractor in both residential and commercial projects. His strong work ethic and craftsmanship earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.

David's vibrant personality was characterized by his infectious laughter and his role as the “Cool Uncle” to his growing family. He was known for having a huge heart, always prioritizing his loved ones, especially his mother, with whom he shared a close bond. He cherished memories filled with joy and laughter, making an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

An adventurous spirit, David lived life in the fast lane. As a young man, he found thrill in racing quarter midget cars, a passion that seamlessly transitioned into the exhilarating world of fast race boats. This love for speed and excitement defined a part of his identity and showcased his unwavering zest for life.

David is survived by his beloved sisters, Dori Rostad of Benton, Arkansas, and Denise Fagin, along with her husband Pat, of Henderson, Nevada. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews: Kelly Shulman and spouse Jordan, Matt Fagin and spouse Megan, Danielle Davenport and spouse Stephen, Shannon Rostad and spouse Sarah, and Jason Salter. In addition, he leaves behind his best friend, Tyler Freeman, and many family members and friends who will hold him dear in their hearts and miss him profoundly.

David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Salter, and his mother, Marylou (O'Dowd) Hale. Their memories will continue to live on through the love and legacy he crafted with those who survive him. David’s spirit and kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the honor to know him.
