David Thomas Nutt, 54, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, died June 11, 2017. He was born December 11, 1962 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the son of the late Thomas and Helen Schwarz Nutt. David was a champion bowler and volleyball player. He was also an avid participant in Special Olympics and brought home many medals, which he proudly showed off. His winning smile and sly personality made him a favorite of everyone who met him. He was a loyal employee of Virco Manufacturing in Conway, where he worked for 28 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Phyliss Renae Nutt. He is survived by his siblings Donna (Steve) of Bee Branch, Anita of Bigelow, Patrick (Kelly) of Benton, Tony of Conway, and Tim of Little Rock; a niece, nephew, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rosary is Thursday, June 15, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. and followed by visitation from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Griffin Leggett Chapel. Service is Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Dixie. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jonesboro.
