Dean "Pop" Mullican, 81, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012. He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and a man who loved God and loved people. Through his love of people, he chose a career in sales. He was highly regarded in every company he worked for.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Meleah and Johnny Runnells, of North Little Rock and Kay and Scott Dorn, of Jacksonville; son, Michael Mullican, of Houston, Texas; brother, Donald (Lillie Mae) Mullican; sister, Bettye (Raymond) Ryals, all of Atkins; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Billy Graham Ministries, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, North Carolina 28201-0001 or Wolfe Street Foundation, 1015 S. Louisiana St., Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. A committal service will be held 12:00 p.m., at Oakland Cemetery in Atkins, Arkansas. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
