Debbie Hardison

Debbie Kemp Hardison, age 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 21, 2024.  She was born September 5, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late John William Kemp and Jean Elizabeth Kerr Kemp.

She was a 1976 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education, where she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.

Debbie retired from the North Little Rock School District where she taught for 30 years. She was a strong, committed Christian who led her daily life through her faith in Jesus Christ.  She was a wonderful cook and the best wife, mom, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; son Kyle (Claire); daughter, Sarah (Rachael); and grandsons, Denver Hardison and Collin Boykin; siblings, Dr. Len Kemp (Denise) and Rebecca Warren (Bill); along with a host of family and friends.  

The family would like to thank the UAMS Winthrop D. Rockefeller Cancer Center and especially the Infusion B Department where so many wonderful nurses took care of Debbie for many months.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Roy Thompson at Friendship Baptist Church (10150 Brockington Road Sherwood, Arkansas 72120) on January 25, 2024 at 2:30pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
