Deborah Lorraine "Debbie" Brown, 66, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, in Wilmington, Delaware, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 1, 1960, in Coushatta, Louisiana, Debbie’s life was defined by love, laughter, and an enduring melody.

In her elementary school years, Debbie moved with her family to Sherwood, Arkansas, where she grew up and formed lifelong roots. She recently blessed her family by spending her final months in Wilmington with her son and daughter-in-law. Debbie was a woman of many passions, defined especially by her deep love for animals, her profound connection to music, and the immense generosity and care she showed to her friends, who were always a vital part of her life. Whether she was engaging in joyful conversation, listening to her favorite songs, or singing a tune around the house, her warmth was a constant presence, leaving her family and loved ones with a lifetime of beautiful memories.

Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Larry Lorraine Dickson and Jackie Francis Dickson (Bailey).

Her memory and joyful spirit will be forever cherished by her family. She is survived by her two sons, Chad Brown and Chase Brown, along with her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Beavers. Her family, friends, and the many lives she touched will deeply miss her voice, her warmth, and her companionable nature.

A memorial service to celebrate Debbie's life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Sherwood, Arkansas. Following the service, she will make her final journey back home; her ashes, along with those of her mother and father, will be laid to rest with family in Coushatta, Louisiana.
