Deborah Diane Christie of North Little Rock and Yelm, Washington passed away December 6, 2023. She was born May 24, 1961 to Ronald and Diane Christie. She attended St. Patrick Elementary School, Mt. Saint Mary’s High School, and the University of Arkansas where she was a member of the Arkansas Razorback Marching Band.
In Debbie’s younger life she won numerous state and regional Judo tournaments earning her state and regional tittles including Arkansas State Judo Champion. She spent her adult life composing and mixing music and was known to many as the Master of Music. She had a lifetime of endeavors and excelled at them all.
Survivors include her mother, Diane Christie; father, Ronald Christie (Cynthia); two sisters: Rhonda Ward and Kimberly Edgin; nephews: Devin Ward, Jerrod Ward, and Wyatt Edgin; nieces: Kayla Bearden and Haley Howard; great nieces and nephew: Abigail Ward, Adalynn Howard, and Case Howard. Debbie took great pride in her nieces and nephews and always supported their endeavors in many ways. She was always excited to travel home and be with her family.
Debbie’s influence reached around the globe. She had friends from literally all over the world who during her brief illness have showered her with unforgettable acts of kindness. A celebration party to honor Debbie’s life will be held after the holidays.
