Debra Manriquez

Debra Gail Manriquez, age 50 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at her home. She was born Feb. 28, 1956 in DeQueen, AR the daughter of Leroy Godwin and Patsy Shope Cox . She was a caregiver for the elderly, trying to help others in any way possible. In doing this, she was able to touch many people's lives in a remarkable way. She found her greatest reward in being able to help those who were less fortunate than her. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Godwin and one daughter, Katie Rose Manriquez.


Survivors include her mother, Patsy Cox and stepfather, A. B. Cox of Arkadelphia; three brothers Deryl Godwin and Terry Cox both of Arkadelphia; and Gary Godwin of Little Rock; seven step-brothers and sisters; many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.


Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the ARORA Foundation of Little Rock: Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Association 1100 N. University , Suite 200, Little Rock, AR 72207
