Debra Penney Pilkington, 54 of Little Rock died on Friday, May 29, 2009. She was born in LeCompte, Louisiana to Ottie Mae (Wells) Thomas and the late William Loy Thomas. She was a devout Catholic. She worked for Baptist Health for 21 years as a registered nurse. She received her B.S. degree at Henderson College and her Masters degree in nursing at University of Central Arkansas.
Debra was a 33 year kidney transplant recipient that was from her mother in 1966. She was resilient and very up-beat. She loved to cook and sew, and she loved her dog Sadie.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Henry Pilkington of Little Rock; her mother, Ottie Mae Thomas of Damascus; one brother, Keith Loy Thomas of North Little Rock; one sister, Donna Goodson of Damascus; and her close friend, Jana Daren of Georgetown, Texas.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, 1001 North Tyler, Little Rock, with Fr. Charles Thessing as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
